Weird and ultra-alternative! A special fuzz for those of you who call yourself eccentric. An unusual fuzz called Pardner. And a friend from a parallel world named Lasso. New characters join you on your journey into the unknown. ODDBALL (weird, weird) SYNTHY FUZZY FUZZ The Pardner, from Old Blood Noise Endevors, continues to challenge the existential concept of effect pedals. It's a unique and original fuzz pedal that could only be achieved with OBNE's unique alternative sensibility. Available in three colors: Tan, Blue, and Purple. (Blue and Purple are available on special order.) Although it's based on an op-amp, the overall design has been given a powerful twist by OBNE. The fuzz features two modes: Fuzzy is relatively orthodox, but also has a fluffy, blanket-like texture and a dangerous allure, like an explosion of rough particles. Synthy features fake envelope highs and low octaves, creating a spine-tingling sound like an exploding gate. These characters can be significantly altered by the interacting parameters, achieving a vast range of sound variations. Crunch. Sizzle. Wobble. Rumble. Yodel. The scream of a filter on the verge of oscillation. An endless drive into the wilderness. Not only is it filled with the coolest fuzz/distortion, but it also has tones that freak out from the norm, all brimming with the "alternative feel" that OBNE advocates. Lasso FX Loop + Overdrive Equipped with a Lasso FX loop section that can be controlled independently from the Fuzz section. The Lasso comes with a built-in, ultra-powerful overdrive that exudes the signature Pardner sensibility. You can swap the order of the Pardner with the fuzz section, or even route them in parallel. Add a sparkling low-gain rumble to enhance the wild fuzz for even more definition, or envelop everything in gain for a super-saturated wall of sound. You can also master storm-like noise and oscillation. The Pardner is essentially a 2-in-1 overdrive and fuzz pedal, making it incredibly versatile. For a more unique sound, try inserting any external effect into Lasso. Add a different distortion, an octaver, a reverb, a tremolo—try anything and everything without preconceptions. Place Lasso and Fuzz in parallel to avoid cross-pollination, maintaining clear resolution, perfect for creating ambient textures. Use them in series to unleash untapped power, or blow everything away with Fuzz. ●CONTROL 1. Bass Sets the low-frequency content of the fuzz output, from sharp slicing to thick fuzz. 2. Treble Sets the high frequency content of the fuzz output, from smooth warmth to sharp brightness. 3. Fuzz Volume Sets the volume of the fuzz section. 4. Filter Determines the main gain and voicing of the fuzz. As you increase it, the low end of the input stage increases, and so does the amount of fuzz. 5. Intensity A strange control that controls the amount of sizzle, wobbles, yodeling, and more. The change is sometimes mild, sometimes obvious, depending on the other settings and sound preferences. 6. Lasso Volume Sets the volume of the Lasso section. 7. Lasso Gain Sets the gain of the Lasso section from clean to drive. Lasso Volume 8. Synthy-Fuzzy Affects the Filter knob, creating two different fuzz characters: Synthy is a synth-like sound with a pronounced low octave, while Fuzzy is a more traditional fuzz sound. 9.Lasso First - Para - Fuzz First Sets the order of the Fuzz and Lasso sections. ⑩ Lasso Foot Switch Lasso section on/off ⑪ Fuzz footswitch Fuzz section on/off■SPECIFICATION Filter, Intensity, and Synthy-Fuzzy toggle switches that radically reshape the fuzz sound. Treble, Bass, and Fuzz Volume adjust the fuzz output. Lasso effect loop allows you to insert an external effect into Pardner. Connect it to Lasso Out (Send) and Lasso In (Return). Lasso Gain and Lasso Volume adjust the amount of overdrive placed in the Lasso effect loop. Lasso First, Para, and Fuzz First toggle switches change the effect routing. A soft-touch true bypass relay provides minimal switching noise and allows you to turn the Fuzz and Lasso sections on and off independently. 80mA, 9VDC center negative.
