MORRIS HAND MADE PREMIUM Fingerstyle guitar, the legendary S-101III Maurice has a long history as a domestic manufacturer and has a wide range of fans, from legendary musicians to amateurs. Despite their careful craftsmanship, they boast incredible cost performance and offer a wide lineup that covers everything from folk style to finger style. Maurice is a long-established Japanese brand that dominated the folk music boom of the 1970s, but it was also Maurice that developed and released a guitar that was ideal for the new movement known as "fingerstyle guitar" in the 2000s, playing a key role in spreading and recognizing this style throughout Japan. The S Series was released in 2001 as a dedicated fingerstyle instrument and gained popularity for its style-specific playability and outstanding sound. Since then, it has been improved many times, and is now a guitar series that continues to be in use today, more than 20 years later, as a ``masterpiece of fingerstyle guitar'' loved by a wide range of players, from beginners to veterans. The new signature model "SC-32U" by Tokio Uchida, a master of Japanese fingerpicking! The SC-32U is a more affordable version that follows the concept of the luxuriously crafted SC-145U from the LUTHIER MADE PREMIUM series and is handmade by a team of artisans at the Matsumoto factory. Not only does it keep costs down, it also inherits Mr. Uchida's commitment to quality, making it a model that will appeal to a wider range of fingerpickers. The slim Grand Auditorium guitar features a solid Sitka spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The SC-32U is another signature model by Tokio Uchida, and was created as a variation of the mahogany-bodied SC-16U. To improve playability, it also features the same specifications that make it easier to play, such as a nut with an offset groove closer to the 6th string and an SC body design that is slightly thinner than the regular S series. As is typical of Tokio Utada's signature model, it cuts out moderately low-mid range overtones, making the sound ideal for playing country blues and other genres, and it is a model that can produce a sound that realistically reproduces the player's picking nuances. Another attractive feature is that it is made entirely in Japan, is entirely handmade, and is made of solid wood, yet offers excellent cost performance at just over 100,000 yen. It is also highly recommended as a stepping stone for beginners to fine gait style!!-SPEC- Body Style: Thin Grand Auditorium / Venetian Cutaway Top: Solid Sitka Spruce Back: Solid Indian Rosewood Side: Solid Indian Rosewood Top Bracing: Forward Shifted X Bracing Back Bracing: Ladder Bracing Neck: Mahogany Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood Bridge: Indian Rosewood Nut Width: 44mm Scale: 652mm Head Inlay: Gentian Position Mark: 12F (Riento) Head Tuner: GOTOH/SG381-B01 CK Nut Material: Graph Tech/TUSQ Saddle Material: Graph Tech/TUSQ Bridge Pins: Graph Tech/TUSQ Finish: Silk Flat Color: NAT Case: MHB-2 Hard Case
