The Chamaeleo Tail Loop MkIII is a 5-program loop switcher with 4 series loops, 1 separate loop, tuner out/mute switch and power supply in a compact and lightweight housing. Equipped with six DC outputs, it can power up to six effects pedals. It can also drive five pedals and one tuner simultaneously. It now features a display and can store up to 50 programs (10 banks x 5 programs). Bank switching is performed with a single footswitch, and the number of banks used can be limited, allowing you to use only the number of programs needed to suit your environment. It also features a master bypass function that can be turned on/off. When set to ON, you can bypass the entire program by pressing the currently selected program switch. ●Program mode and direct mode The Chamaeleo Tail Loop MKIII features a program mode and a direct mode. You can switch between Program mode and Direct mode by holding down the BANK switch for more than two seconds. This allows you to instantly check your sound or turn individual pedals on/off at any time. When you enter Direct mode from a program, the current program's ON/OFF settings remain. Operations in Direct mode are not saved with the program. This means you can use Direct mode to temporarily switch pedals on/off within a preset. ●Cycle-selection bank select: To keep operation as simple as possible, you switch banks using the BANK foot switch on the far right. Pressing the BANK foot switch increases the bank number by one, and when it reaches the maximum, it cycles back to the smallest bank. You can limit the banks that can be used. ●Lock Switch Enter Direct Mode and use the L1 and L2 buttons to set the minimum and maximum bank values to be used. Use the L2 button (START BANK) to set the minimum bank value to be used, and the L1 button (END BANK) to set the maximum value. The maximum value will always be larger than the minimum value. When the END BANK is set, a dot appears in the bottom right of the display, letting you know at a glance which setting is in effect. ●Series Loop and Separate Loop A series loop is when multiple effect loops are connected in series. This allows for the shortest signal path, but it can only be used in series. The Chamaeleo Tail Loop MKIII is equipped with a separate loop in addition to four series loops. The separate loop operates as an independent loop in itself, so you can connect an effect before the amplifier and in the loop, or before the input buffer, or even connect an effect on a completely separate route, such as to a different part. These can all be controlled by a program, allowing for flexible operation. Master Bypass When Master Bypass is ON, you can bypass the entire switcher by pressing the selected PGM switch. Master Bypass can be set by connecting power while pressing the BANK footswitch. Mute Switch: Convenient for use on stage, the TD-10 features an independent MUTE/TUNER OUT switch. This mutes the output while simultaneously transmitting a signal from the TUNER OUT. This is useful not only for tuning or muting during MC performances, but also for quickly muting the TD-10 in case of a sudden malfunction. ●BJF BUFFER The input section of the Chamaeleo Tail Loop MkIII is equipped with a BJF BUFFER. The buffer can also be used independently. By using the BUF OUT terminal, the BUF IN-buffer-BUF OUT are separated from the main unit. For example, if you connect a cable to BUF IN after the output and then connect BUF OUT to an amplifier, you can use it as an output buffer. ●Characteristics of Chamaeleo Tail Loop MKIII ・Can store up to 50 programs with up to 10 banks x 5 programs ・Display shows program banks ・Can set minimum and maximum values for the bank to be used ・Equipped with 4 series loops and 1 separate loop ・Independent loop also functions as an amplifier channel selection switch ・Visually easy-to-understand programming function ・Equipped with a lock switch to lock programs ・Can be used as a normal switcher or for temporary operation by using direct mode ・Tuner foot switch can be used as a mute switch ・Master bypass can be set to ON/OFF ・Equipped with a natural BJF Buffer circuit ・Equipped with buffered input, non-buffered input, and buffered output ・Operates with a commercially available 9V center negative adapterPower supply: DC9V Current consumption: max. 200mA Size: 440(W) x 56(D) x 38(H) mm (excluding protrusions) 440(W) x 63(D) x 54(H) mm (including protrusions) Weight: approx. 740g
