Pairing it with your favorite overdrive or fuzz pedal is a blast. When combined, all the iconic octave tones we know and love pop out of your signal. It's incredibly touch-responsive, quirky, and fun, all in a small package. The Argonaut uses a pair of hand-matched NOS germanium diodes, delivering the most widely heard octave-up effect across the guitar neck. Unlike traditional octave pedals, the octave effect can be heard up and down the guitar neck, so adding this pedal to your setup is bound to sound strange. We like to place the Argonaut after a fuzz pedal and before an overdrive, but as with everything, effects vary from person to person and there's no right answer for guitar tone.
