Nishikiori is a general ter m for patterned fabrics woven with gorgeous designs using gold, silver, and colored threads, and is used for long-sleeved kimonos and formal obi sashes, as well as for pouches, priest's robes, stage costumes, and more. Nishikiori is a traditional fabric with the finest texture and elegance, woven on a rare foil-pulling machine, of which there are currently just under 70 in Japan. It has been carefully crafted into a guitar strap. The leather end is made of oil leather from a domestic brand, giving it an even more traditional feel.
