The Tube Screamer is arguably the most iconic overdrive effect pedal, having captivated countless players from the 1970s to the present day. To further evolve the pedal, we've rebuilt the flagship hand-wired model. We started by reviewing every component, aiming to stay true to the crystal clear tone with an emphasis on the mid-range. After repeated prototyping, we concluded that the JRC NJM4558 op-amp was the essential op-amp component for achieving the Tube Screamer's legendary sound. At the same time, by using high-end parts such as MOGAMI OFC wiring, we were able to further enhance the benefits of a hand-wired pedal and achieve a wider range of sounds. A boost function has been added to the final stage of the circuit, allowing the maximum output level to be boosted by +6dB compared to the previous model. The look has also been completely redesigned, retaining the traditional Tube Screamer form while giving it an appearance befitting a high-end model. - Equipped with JRC NJM4558 operational amplifier This is an essential part for producing the Tube Screamer's distinctive mid-range and warm distortion. - Uses OFC wiring material (AWG21) manufactured by MOGAMI. By connecting the wiring material point-to-point, current loss is minimized, resulting in a clear sound with less sound loss. - A boost function has been added to the final stage of the circuit, allowing for a +6dB boost in maximum output level compared to the previous model. - Machined aluminum knob with black anodized finish. - Uses a standard 2.1mm DC jack, common in modern effects pedals. - Can be powered by 9V-18V.
