J.Michael TR-430S Trumpet The main model of J Michael trumpets is designed to cover everything from brass bands to wind ensembles, perfect for anyone starting out in a band life. The combination of a red brass mouthpiece that produces a rich tone and a yellow brass bell that produces a vibrant sound makes playing the trumpet a joy. The lightweight body and adjustable thumb rest, which can be positioned to suit different hand sizes, make it a trumpet that even small students can play comfortably. ●Features: This model was developed to produce a richer tone compared to the entry-level models (TR-200/TR-300S). Inheriting the design philosophy of the higher-end Brasspire Unicorn model, including bell length (which greatly affects the sound) and highly durable stainless steel pistons, this instrument achieves exceptional sound and stable piston action. ●While all parts are made of brass, the mouthpiece pipe uses red brass, which has a high copper content. It delivers a rich resonance while maintaining a sharp tone. ●Finish: Silver-plated finish, a favorite among many trumpet players. A richer, darker tone than clear lacquer. ●A single-post design with a support post attached to the main pipe of the semi-round crook. It makes it easy to grasp the sweet spot of the sound and produces a moderate blowing feel. Taking into consideration the overall feel of playing the instrument, a standard, non-reverse type insertion/removal method was adopted. ●A wide nickel silver thumb rest designed for ease of handling and operation of the first valve slide. Features a reverse-type trigger that enables quick pitch correction. ●No. 3 slide The third valve slide features a reverse-type trigger with a movable finger rest. By loosening the screw, you can adjust the position of the finger rest to a position that is comfortable and easy for you to hold. It is also possible to remove the finger rest and attach a lyre (music clip). (※J Michael does not carry lyres.) ● A bell that balances weight and resonance when held as a bell instrument. The Bell Curling uses a non-wired beat that makes it easy for beginners to monitor their own sound. ●Piston: The piston is made of highly durable stainless steel. The combination of a lightweight piston button and a stainless steel spring creates a smooth and responsive action. Furthermore, lightweight types are used for the cap screws and bottom screws. It improves pronunciation response and contributes to a brilliant sound. ● Piston Button: The piston button is made of natural mother-of-pearl.
