Adds eight RJ45 RS485 sensors to the E-16D. Each E-16D supports up to three E-RJ8-RS485allowing for a total of 37 RJ45 RS485 sensors to be connected to the E-16D. When cascading E- 16D units together, only the master unit supports E-RJ8-RS485. Powered by 12VDC 2.5A external power supply (included). Compatible with E-16D only. Interfaces with the E-16D via RJ45 Sensor Ports #1, 2, and 3. Note: Sensors connected to the E-RJ8-RS485 are not visible using SNMP or E-MNG management software. Supports CAT5/5e/6 cable up to 1000 feet (305 m) between E-16D and the hub. Sensor cable lengths connected to the hub are as specified per sensor. Available options: desktop unit with wall mounting brackets, DIN mount unit, 1RU rackmount unit.
