DESCRIPTION This hat is of British origin and was produced by Glyn & Co in England. Its shaping is reminiscent of the 1910s and 1920s, although the hat was most likely made somewha t later, around the 1930s to 1940s. It was imported into Sweden and sold new by Jacobssons, a shop located in Valdemarsvik in southern Sweden. The hat is black in colour, both in the felt and the hatband. The interior is lined with a light silk fabric bearing the manufacturer’s logo. The light-coloured sweatband also features the importer’s logo. In the lining, the original owner has handwritten their initials. The condition is excellent, with nothing of note to mention.
