[Used Mike Portnoy Signature snare now in stock!] Mike Portnoy, winner of the 2011 Modern Drummer magazine reader poll, now has his signature snare drum, an essential part of his d rumming, now available with a hammered steel shell and a new emblem. It also features a dedicated strainer, which meets Portnoy's request to "adjust the snare tension while playing." The new main snare drum is a 1mm thick, hammered steel shell model, replacing the maple shell used until 2011. This model incorporates his particular attention to detail in many areas, including the offset lugs and purple snare strap.
