The TOKYO EFFECTOR/BLACK SWANCIVIL FUZZ is a fuzz pedal designed for bassists and down-tuning guitarists. While the BLACK SWAN is a fuzz distortion inspired by the BUZZAROUND, the BLACK SWANCIVIL FUZZ has a newly designed sound based on the legendary CIVIL WAR, one of the earliest types of Russian Muff pedals that are popular among bassists. While faithfully reproducing the saturation, sound pressure, and distortion characteristics, it prioritizes practical performance, incorporating an original buffer circuit designed with the signal going to the PA mixer via line output in mind. Without the mix blender often found in bass effects pedals, it features three simple controls—VOL, TONE, and GAIN—allowing it to function as a high-quality preamp when the gain is lowered, or as a distinctive fuzz comparable to a vintage CIVIL WAR depending on the gain and tone controls.Condition: No problems with use.
