The monitor and line outputs provide a dynamic range of 125 dB, allowing you to monitor with uncompromising sound quality. The dual headphone outputs boast a dynamic range of 120 dB. ■8 x SSL-designed Mic/Line inputs The SSL 18 features eight high-performance SSL-designed mic preamps in switchable mic/line configuration. Based on the design concept of many previous preamps, it achieves ultra-low noise recording and a wide dynamic range. You can also switch to Legacy 4K mode to add true analog saturation and the iconic sound of the SSL 4000 series to vocals, drums and more. Additionally, Line mode completely bypasses the mic preamp stage, making it ideal for connecting external outboard gear. Outputs 3-10 operate at +24 dBu, making them ideal for integrating professional outboard equipment.
