Used Bosphorus Traditional Series Ride Thin 22-inch bike now in stock! -Bosphorus Cymbals- Bosphorus Cymbals was founded in 1996 by three cymbal makers, Hasan Seker, Ibrahim Yakici , and Hasan Ozdemir. The three are the most experienced active cymbal makers in Turkey and are known as "masters." The three founders of Bosphorus were close childhood friends who became cymbal makers at a very young age, and they thoroughly trained in every step of the cymbal making process, mastering the techniques. Their masters were the masters who made the legendary cymbals of the 1960s and 1970s, and they learned the traditional manufacturing methods. After working at the workshop for 16 years, the three men founded their own company, but they still maintain good relationships with their former employees and continue to make cymbals to this day, with respect for their mentors from whom they learned cymbal making. Bosphorus Cymbal currently employs 16 cymbal craftsmen, eight of whom are in training. The three cymbal masters continue to work together in the workshop, handcrafting cymbals while helping their apprentices to create perfect cymbals based on their nearly 30 years of experience. ＜Traditional＞ This is the standard lineup from Bosphorus. It offers a well-balanced sound, from dark and delicate to bright and intense, to suit any situation. This lineup is recommended for a wide range of genres. ＜Ride Thin＞ This is a traditional standard model that is suitable for a variety of genres and is finished in a lightweight design. This ride has the thin yet light and crisp grain that is unique to Bosphorus, and a calm tone with a spatial atmosphere that produces many delicate overtones. The crash has a great balance of calm tone and brilliance, with a soft, extended sustain. The cup sound has a bright and crisp accent.
