Jane Mitchell This 1970s graphite on paper abstract is by East Coast painter, printmaker, and designer Jane Mitchell (1915-1988). Mitchell studied Art History and Fine Art at Wheat on College and University of Iowa. She lived and worked in Ibiza, Spain during the 1950s-60s and was influenced by Cubism and Surrealism. Mitchell exhibited throughout the U.S. and Spain during her lifetime. 1970sGraphite on Paper 27.25" x 22" framed, 15" x 11" unframed Signed bottom center. Framed in a restored vintage wood frame with a soft black finish and silver leaf lip using white archival matting behind conservation clear glass. Good vintage condition. Show more
