This embroidered, scallop-edged black cotton eyelet comes from a NY designer, and has a beautiful border design that can be cut across the grain to make use of the pattern and scal loped selvages. The base fabric is a lightweight cotton lawn and with the embroidery it has a bit more substance and body. It is semi sheer/sheer, because of the eyelet holes, and has a soft, cottony drape. It is perfect for a pretty shirt, dress, skirt, tunic, etc. Some styles will need lining or layering.
