100% Chardonnay from estate and grower vineyards across Marlborough, primarily Awatere Valley and Wairau Valley on stony alluvial and clay-loam soils. The grapes are hand and machine harvested, gently pressed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with selected and indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks with a small portion in older French oak barrels. Malolactic partially blocked to retain freshness. Aged 6-8 months in stainless steel and neutral oak on fine lees with occasional stirring. Tasting Note: Aromas show peach and nectarine along with lemon zest and subtle oatmeal notes. The palate delivers medium body and crispness with juicy texture and bright acidity.
