The Simplifier MK-II recreates the behavior from preamp to cabinet while retaining the instant touch and dynamics that only analog devices can provide. ■ Preamp - The AC BRIT pream p minimizes the MID control range, providing more accurate historical behavior, like the VOX AC-30 64' top boost channel. -The American (USA) preamp is based on the Bassman 59', a true classic amplifier. - MS Brit delivers new levels of gain, like a hot-rodded Marshall Plexi. ■ Power Amp - A new dedicated power amp drive lets you set the perfect amount of power amp compression for that sweet spot that only tube amps can achieve. This control delivers a new level of realism that only DSM Humboldt can deliver. POWER AMP is a highly detailed recreation of a Class A/B power stage, including the phase inverter. Each power type reconstructs the feedback path, PI gain, and the effect of the power transformer on the power tubes. Clip indicator shows when the emulated power tubes are clipping, helping you find the desired sweet spot between power drive and preamp drive, just like a real tube amplifier. Combined with MASTER VOLUME, you can get any amount of preamp and power amp drive at any volume level. ■ Master Section - MASTER VOLUME allows you to set the amount of drive for the preamp and power amp at any volume level, avoiding unwanted FX-LOOP distortion. Redesigned PRESENCE control in the power amp feedback: Turning it clockwise boosts the high-mids like a Marshall or Fender. Turning it counterclockwise cuts the highs like a VOX amp. - The redesigned RESONANCE control now allows you to set the bass thump to suit your PA system. ■ Stereo Cabinet Simulator: After comprehensive research based on hundreds of response curves of the most famous speakers on the market, the cab sim section has been completely redesigned and the MIC position control has been replaced with a more convenient and intuitive three profile speaker control.
