This unit is an amp simulator and IR engine that incorporates Two Notes' accumulated technology. In addition to speaker simulations such as Torpedo CAB, it now features a preamp simulation using vacuum tube circuit modeling. This single unit realizes simulation of a preamp, power amp, and speaker. The preamp, power amp, and cabinet simulations can be turned on and off individually, allowing you to create the optimal sound to suit your equipment. Furthermore, it is equipped with MIDI functionality and a USB-C terminal, making it highly expandable. - Preamp Simulation: The OPUS comes with five preamp sounds that form the foundation of your sound. These use newly developed vacuum tube circuit modeling and are inspired by classic guitar and bass amps. Updating the OPUS will add three more preamps. You can build a solid sound with a fierce, aggressive high gain, a pure clean tone that forms the foundation of your sound, or a powerful Brit tone. The OPUS is a masterpiece, a universe of sound within its small size. - Power Amp Simulation When simulating a power amp, you can choose the type of amplifier output stage circuit configuration (Push Pull / Single Ended), the type of vacuum tube (6L6 | EL34 | EL84 | KT88), and the number of tube poles (Pentode | Triode). -Speaker Simulation The speaker simulation function allows you to accurately set various microphone settings, such as the type of speaker cabinet and the type and position of the microphone. With many parameters, you can reproduce the frequency characteristics and distortion of the cabinet, allowing you to record guitar and bass tracks with a realistic sound. If you need more cabinets, you can purchase them via your computer. - IR can be used. You can load third-party IRs instead of using the built-in virtual cabinet and microphone. Two IRs can be used simultaneously. Up to 512 IRs can be loaded into the unit. IRs can be loaded using the Torpedo Remote app on your computer. -Studio-quality effects included: EQ, enhancer, noise gate, and reverb. -Use as a DI for electric acoustic guitars This unit also works great as a DI box for electric acoustic guitars during live concerts and recordings. -Quick and easy setup in the app Using the Torpedo Remote app, you can set the unit's parameters using your smartphone (iOS | Android) or computer (Mac | Windows). *This unit does not have a load box function.
