Wide-range distortion sound The STAMPEDE DT/SDT-3 features the same low-noise up-converter power supply circuit found in the STAMPEDE OD/SOV-2. By boosting the internal operating voltage from 9V DC, the STAMPEDE DT/SDT-3 delivers a wide dynamic range not possible with typical 9V DC-powered distortion pedals. This allows you to recreate the deep, bass-heavy distortion sound of a large stack amp. Adjusting the gain and tone controls allows you to create a wide variety of distortion sounds, from natural crunch to dirty, fuzz-like distortion. 2-band equalizer The EQ is equipped with a two-band equalizer (TREBLE and BASS). This EQ allows you to adjust the tone to match the characteristics of the connected amplifier. In combination with the GAIN control, it produces powerful distortion and a wide range of sound characters. While a conventional True-Bypass circuit requires the audio signal to pass through two switch contacts when bypassed, the STAMPEDE DT uses a Single Contact True Bypass circuit, which only passes through one switch contact when bypassed. This results in improved product reliability and higher sound quality than ever before. DCG Circuit: The DCG Circuit (Double Contact Grounding Circuit) is used, which connects the shield side of the mono plug connected to the output jack to the ground side of the effects pedal with two contacts. By increasing the contact area, poor contact is less likely to occur, which is also advantageous in terms of sound quality. Multi-function LED The STAMPEDE DT's LED not only indicates the effect's ON/OFF status, but also monitors the battery voltage. The LED will begin to turn off when the battery voltage drops below approximately 7V. Although the effect sound will still be output in this state, we recommend replacing the battery to ensure the unit's full performance.
