BROWNE AMPLIFICATION is a guitar/amp/guitar effects brand based in Kansas City, USA. Founder Dave Brown has been in Kansas City for many years, repairing vintage amps, setting up guitars, and creating custom pedals, earning him the trust of many players. This brand was born from his desire to create high-quality, durable, and reliable guitar products for active musicians. This is a fuzz pedal developed at the same time as the flagship model Protein. Judging from the knob configuration and sound, it is a fuzz that falls into the Muff series, and personally I get the impression that it is more "Russian than Ram's." The distortion texture does not produce the intense bass of the Russian, but it is close to distortion. The tone control has a typical Muff-like feel, with a noticeable increase or decrease in treble/bass around 12 o'clock. While the original Muff series has a tone control that is completely biased towards treble/bass, the tone control has been balanced so that the affected range is slightly more mid-range, like high mid/low mid, giving it a good balance similar to that of Ram's.
