[Used Recording Custom brass shell snare drum now in stock!] *There are signs of use such as scratches, dirt, rust, and dents. This model inherits the features of the previous model and, with the cooperation of world-class drummer Steve Gadd, has been designed to maximize sound quality without any compromise. Main Features: Seven Recording Custom metal snare drum models available, featuring stainless steel, aluminum, and brass. The new Recording Custom models are designed to bring out the performer's potential not only in recording studios but also in a wide range of other settings. [Brass shell] Brass shells feature a deep and rich sound. The center taper uses an out-center bead (convex part). It controls the volume and shell resonance while maintaining the attack and powerful sound characteristic of metal shells. By optimizing the combination of shell material, hoop, snare, and center bead, a wide range of sound creation is possible. This model combines quality and control performance that can be said to be the standard for metal shell snares. [Coated head included] The striking surface uses an Ambassador coated head, which maximizes the full, solid sound of the shell itself. [Center bead] All models use out-center bead. It controls the volume and shell resonance while maintaining a powerful, attacking sound, allowing for a wide range of sound creation and control. [Strainer ] The Q-type strainer, also used on the Live Custom and Absolute Hybrid Maple, provides stability when on and off, and allows for easy snare replacement and adjustments while playing. ■Size and specifications Shell: Brass 1.2mm Caliber: 13 x 6.5 Snare bed: 2.4mm Edge angle: 45°/R1.5 Lug bracket: One-piece lug Hoop/Bolt: 2.3mm Dyna Hoop/8 tension Strainer (release): Q type Strainer (butt): DC3 type
