This is a beautiful wool/cashmere coating, a woven from a NY designer. It is a medium coating weight, cozy, very soft and refined with just a bit of body in the drape. The face has a slightly brushed texture and the back is more flat. It is densely-woven yet not stiff or heavy, and the color is a deep midnight/nearly black tone (PANTONE 19-3712 is close).
