Finally v3 is a DI with a built-in vacuum tube (12AU7). The input unbalanced signal passes through a high-voltage vacuum tube and high-end DI transformer, and is output as a balanced signal from the XLR terminal. The XLR output has independent volume control and ground lift, allowing adjustment according to the connected device. Starting with the v3, the 1/4" connector is equipped with a high-voltage buffer, making it independent of the XLR. The 12AU7 vacuum tube adds a smooth tube sound without the excessive distortion of the 12AX7. The DI transformer is a custom-made Unagi Magnetics E4305 DI transformer. Designed for use with tube amplifiers, the full-range, wide frequency response, down to an astonishing 10Hz, captures even the subtlest nuances of your playing. It supports 9V to 12V (500mA) power supplies, and using 12V provides a wider dynamic range. Starting with v3, you can now set the cutoff frequency of the HPF (high pass filter). When the HPF is turned on, frequencies below 30 Hz are attenuated by -12 dB/octave, and the frequency range from 30 Hz to 120 Hz is attenuated by an additional -12 dB/octave. This model was created in collaboration with Philip Mann, a well-known columnist for Bass Player Magazine and author of the academic bass research platform "With Bass In Mind." Experience the sound of Mann, who has been selected as one of the top five bass teachers in the world and has performed with many Grammy winners, including Van Morrison.・GAIN: Controls tube saturation. LEVEL: Adjusts the volume of the 1/4" phone output terminal (only applies in PRE OUT mode)・HPF (High Pass Filter) switch: When set to the HPF side, the high pass filter is turned on. FREQ: Sets the frequency of the high-pass filter. When HPF is on, frequencies below 30 Hz are attenuated by -12 dB/octave, and frequencies between 30 Hz and 120 Hz are attenuated by an additional -12 dB/octave. DRY PASS / PRE OUT switch: Selects the sound output from the 1/4" phone output terminal. DRY PASS bypasses the signal, while PRE OUT outputs the wet signal that has passed through LEVEL etc.・XLR volume (side): Adjusts the volume of the XLR output terminal. - XLR Ground Lift Switch (Side): When the switch is down it connects to ground, when it is up it is isolated. Power supply: 9V to 12V (500mA) *Do not use at less than 500mA. Dimensions: 122 mm x 67 mm x 39.6 mm
