You can place it before the drive for enhanced gain and sustain, or after for a significant volume boost. That's why we've added a special type of compression inspired by studio legend the UREI 1176. It provides smooth, natural compression for the perfect balance of sustain and pick dynamics. A simple "Sustain" knob lets you dial in exactly the right amount of compression. Think of it as a feature that adds "more" to your guitar tone. Customize your sound with a versatile EQ set The Unit67 journey didn't end there. We added an EQ set consisting of bass and treble knobs, as well as precise tone control with a very special "Range" control. The Range (Master) control, also known as a treble booster, helps to enrich your tone with brilliance without getting lost in the mix. It's especially effective when using darker-toned amplifiers or guitar pickups. Combining Range with a touch of sustain and a moderate boost creates beats and lead tones that push them to the forefront.■Power supply We recommend a minimum of 100mA DC 9-18VDC (center negative) (sold separately). Using more than 9V will cause the Unit67 to generate more heat, but this is by design. Different power supply voltages have no effect on the pedal's tone or internal headroom. The current consumption varies depending on the input signal level. For example, at guitar level, the current draw is approximately 87mA. If you are connecting other equipment with a higher output than an electric guitar, we recommend using a power supply with a 150mA output.
