From a NY designer, this is a super soft and drapey 2x2 ribbed sweater knit, medium-light weight yet nearly opaque with a soft texture. It has about 50% horizontal stretch with a n ice springback. According to a burn test it does seem to have a small amount of wool. The color is a beautiful elderberry tone (PANTONE 19-3520), and it is perfect for tops, tunics, cardigan, soft ribbing for cuffs, hems and necklines, lounge wear, etc. Both sides look the same.
