Expanding on Electro-Harmonix's acclaimed reverb technology, Oceans Abyss is an immersive effects workstation. The pedal features two independently programmable reverb engines with newly designed stereo algorithms (Hall, Spring, Shimmer, etc.). By placing these reverbs in a freely customizable signal path, along with additional FX blocks such as Delay, Chorus, Tremolo and Bit Crusher, you can create unique soundscapes. Electro-Harmonix has been creating powerful, accessible reverbs since Holy Grail, and now they push the boundaries even further with Oceans Abyss, which is everything you need in a reverb. Up to eight effect blocks can be freely combined and configured as individual reverb, modulation, EQ, delay, bitcrusher, saturation and volume effects, or in countless combinations. From simple spring reverb to the rich stereo Hall and Shimmer reverb with the spaciousness that only stereo can provide, With chorus, delay, overdrive, tremolo, and more, you can instantly create anything from surf to shoegaze. The high-visibility OLED display makes detailed parameter editing easy, and the multiple graphical views and easy-to-read design make operation intuitive. Expression/CV control is available for almost every parameter, allowing for artistic manipulation of effects and dynamics. In addition to fully stereo input and output, it also has an FX loop, making it flexible for use with any instrument, recording environment, or live rig. 128 programmable presets, controlled via footswitch or MIDI, instantly recreate the ideal sound for any performance situation. The MIDI IN/OUT ports support PC, CC, and tempo clock reception, further expanding Oceans Abyss's expressive potential.
