To celebrate IKEBE's 50th Anniversary, we ordered the OCD V2 in a special color!・RUBY SPARKLE color ・White knob ・White logo ---------------- The Fulltone Obsessive Compulsive Drive (OCD) is a very open-sounding overdrive/distortion circuit, and unlike other overdrives, it has an extremely wide dynamic range... meaning that differences in picking nuances produce a more natural, wide-ranging distortion with less compression than a traditional diode clip overdrive. It also creates complex harmonics without changing the original tone of your amp or guitar. The OCD achieves its tube-like distortion through the unusual combination of overdriving a JFET op-amp and hard-clipping a pair of MOSFETs later in the circuitry, and its high output volume allows it to be driven much harder than a typical OD. It also operates on DC18V, significantly improving dynamic range and clarity. Changes in the V2 include an Enhanced Bypass feature, which buffers all dynamics by 0.3 to 0.06 dB by configuring both switching FETs as Class A and setting the FETs for gain, even at very slight gains. This positively impacts the sound while maintaining consistency regardless of where it's placed on the pedalboard, reducing the load on the pedal's hard clipping stage and improving both tonal and harmonic sustain. The discrete 2N5457 JFET input section, also in Class A configuration, raises input impedance to 1 megaohm (previously 330K), improving dynamics. New features include an internal switch that allows you to select between Enhanced Bypass and True-Bypass. *Due to the manufacturing process and the characteristics of the paint, there may be slight unevenness, fading, or marks from equipment on the painted surface. These are not covered by the warranty. Thank you for your understanding. ※※ There may be individual differences in the thickness of the paint on the logo. Please note that this is also a specification.
