The Genelec 8340ARW is a Smart Active Monitor (SAM™) in a distinctive RAW aluminium finish, combining powerful performance with sustainable design. Engineered for precision monitoring in demanding professional environments such as recording studios, post-production suites, and broadcast facilities, it delivers a high SPL of 110 dB, an extended frequency response from 38 Hz to 22 kHz, and remarkable ±1.5 dB accuracy (45 Hz–20 kHz). The RAW unpainted cabinet is made of recycled aluminium, enhancing both environmental impact and durability. Inside the 8340ARW are two 150 W Class D amplifiers driving a 165 mm woofer and a 19 mm tweeter, paired with advanced acoustic innovations like Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™), Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™), and Reflex Port Design all contributing to an uncoloured, precise sound with wide dispersion.
