The Genelec 8340AWM is the white finish edition of the powerful and adaptable 8340A SAM™ Studio Monitor, offering a clean, modern aesthetic to match its cutting-edge acoustic performance. Designed for professional use in studios, broadcast control rooms, and post-production suites, it delivers high SPL capability (110 dB) and a broad frequency response of 38 Hz to 22 kHz (-6 dB) which ensures precise, uncoloured sound even in acoustically challenging spaces. Equipped with a 165 mm woofer and 19 mm tweeter, each powered by its own 150 W Class D amplifier, the 8340AWM incorporates Genelec’s advanced acoustic technologies including Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) and Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™) for exceptional off-axis performance and imaging. The enclosure is made from die-cast aluminium, combining strength, acoustic integrity, and low resonance, while the included Iso-Pod™ stand ensures ideal orientation and decoupling from surfaces. As part of the Smart Active Monitoring (SAM™) range, the 8340AWM works with GLM™ calibration software, allowing the monitor to automatically compensate for room acoustics, adjust time-of-flight delay, and align levels which makes it ideal for stereo, surround, or immersive audio setups. With both analog XLR and AES/EBU digital inputs, as well as networked RJ45 control, the 8340AWM offers uncompromising accuracy, style, and flexibility for any professional monitoring environment.
