These headphones allow you to monitor vocals and instruments in a studio recording or mix with dense sound that suppresses the intrusion of environmental noise, and can be used as closed-back headphones with the accurate reproduction of the original sound that only RP drivers can provide. * RP and RP technology are proprietary Fostex technologies that move the entire surface of the flat diaphragm in a regular phase (Regular Phase). ● Sealed housing with a unified shape for the T50RPmk4 series The sealed housing is based on the semi-open T50RPmk4 housing, and carefully insulates each ventilation area while meticulously tuning the sound balance. By ensuring sound insulation, monitoring can be focused on the original sound more precisely. Furthermore, because the internal shape of the housing is the same for both the T50RPmk4CL and T50RPmk4, you can choose the model that best suits your task or environment, from recording to mixing, without having to worry about the difference in sound between closed and semi-open types. ● RP driver evolved to the 4th generation RP Technology's full-face drive planar diaphragm driver, which has been continuously improved using its own technology for 50 years, is the fourth generation, and in order to expand and uniform the vibration area of the planar diaphragm, the number of magnets sandwiching the diaphragm has been increased and the pattern shape of the printed coil has been newly designed. Furthermore, the components of the magnetic circuit have been completely redesigned to optimize the magnetic flux distribution, suppressing unnecessary resonance in the diaphragm and achieving a sharp response at the rise and fall of the sound that is faithful to the original sound. The fourth-generation driver was developed by fully incorporating the various technologies we have cultivated over the years, achieving improved sensitivity, smooth frequency characteristics that are easy to monitor, and excellent transient characteristics. By enabling accurate and delicate reproduction of sounds from the deep bass to the high frequencies, the system has achieved even greater accuracy in positioning and sound field reproduction than before.
