[This is a rare instrument that is now hard to find due to the manufacturer's discontinuation!] We have a used Brady Jarrah block shell snare in stock! The Brady Drum Company is an Australian handmade drum manufacturer founded in 1980 by founder and maker Chris Brady. Brady drums are made using a lot of wood native to Australia. In particular, we use Jara, Sheoak, Spotted Gum, Mali, Wandoo and Gum. Unfortunately, the manufacturer went out of business in 2015, but the drums produced by Brady, with their unique sound, are still loved by artists around the world. The "Block Shell" snare is made from Jarrah wood, a wood native to Australia, and is assembled into a barrel shape like a conga or bongo. Even though production has ended, this snare drum still enjoys tremendous trust from many musicians, and thanks to its thick shell it has a hard, solid, and stable sound. While solid, it perfectly matches the mid-to-low range of the Jarrah wood, making it a masterpiece that produces a very pleasant sound projection.
