The T obias Classic IV is a model that pursues performance and tone without compromise. Crafted from carefully selected, high-quality tonewoods, the Classic IV features a 34-inch scale, five-piece neck-through construction. The neck is constructed from hard maple and purpleheart, and the three-ply body wings feature walnut, wenge, and a quilted maple top with a beautifully grained finish. The neck features a wenge fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets, a bone nut, and a Tobias Asym™ neck profile for comfortable playability. It also features Gotoh tuners and a Babicz® bridge for precise string height and intonation adjustment. The electronics include two active Bartolini humbucking pickups and an 18V preamp with volume, bass, mid, treble, and blend controls, plus a mid frequency switch, allowing you to shape your ideal bass tone with ease.
