Sixth-plate late-1840s daguerreotype in half of a case. Based on ID'd photos picked up with this image, she was probably a member of the Slocum / Pitkin family of New York State an d Pennsylvania. Dag is unsealed in very good antique condition with tarnish ring. There are a couple of small mat abrasions in the tarnish ring very close to the top edge of the mat, but the main area of the image has no scratches or swipes. My cell photo made her left eye look odd but there is nothing wrong with that area when viewed in person. Shipping: Well-packed Ground mailer. Boxed Priority also available. 8379e Show more
