Welcome to a new era of ROSS pedals. The result of countless hours of research and design, these pedals bring the story, legacy, and sound of the original ROSS brand to guitarists and collectors worldwide—a timeless classic. Featuring five classic ROSS circuits, this series offers something for every player, something that the original ROSS pedals were known for. Each pedal is manufactured in the JHS Pedals facility in Kansas City, Missouri, to the exacting quality standards you expect, in classic ROSS enclosure styles. Improvements from vintage pedals include soft-touch bypass, low noise, and a mode switch with two settings for increased versatility. The ROSS Fuzz is a pedal not present in the history of ROSS, but its circuitry is derived from the Kustom amplifiers that Bus Ross manufactured during his time at Kustom Electronics. John Fogerty used Kustom amp distortion on hits like "Run Through the Jungle" and "Fortunate Son," and many other artists, including the Grateful Dead, Leon Russell, Johnny Cash, the Jackson Five, Carl Perkins, the Carpenters, and Charley Pride, have credited these amps with creating many of their signature sounds. This pedal pays tribute to the Kustom distortion effect, created by its transistors. This is a rather unconventional fuzz, unrelated to classic topologies like the Fuzz Face, Tone Bender, or Big Muff. It highlights a hidden moment in distortion history and allows you to place vintage tone into a modern rig.Condition: No problems with use Power supply: DC 9V center negative or Accessories: Box, instruction manual
