A used DW EDGE snare drum with a powerful, explosive sound has arrived!] -Specialty EDGE- This is a special model created as a snare that combines the charact eristics of both wood and brass. This edge snare drum features a 10-ply maple shell in the center, with the top and bottom sandwiched between extra-thick brass material of equal pressure to the wood shell. The special solid brass shell is made by carving out brass and is very thick. This results in a sound with an overwhelming sense of weight and mass, and its ample volume is combined with the solid attack provided by the wood shell, resulting in a one-of-a-kind sound. This is a rare small-diameter 12-inch model. It produces a tight sound with a clear attack and explosive volume. The sound has good clarity and, while it is a so-called "point" sound, it has the potential to stand up to the surrounding volume, making it suitable for use as both a main snare and a sub-effect.
