Michael di Cosola This late 20th century pastel abstracted surreal work is by Abstract Surrealist San Francisco artist Michael di Cosola (1929-2010). Di Cosola studied at the Chica go Art Institute before moving to the Bay Area to study at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland. He had a studio in North Beach during the height of the neighborhood's art scene and exhibited at several Bay Area art galleries in the 1960s. Di Cosola is known for psychedelic, Surrealist portraiture and abstractions. Late 20th Century Pastel on Paper 9.5"x12.5" unframed Estate stamped lower right. Good vintage condition. Show more
