Aquaria is a homage to perhaps the world's most popular overdrive. We wanted to deliver all the original sound, but we've also added a 3-way clipping switch that lets you tailor saturation and compression to your taste. Choose from a smooth-sounding germanium diode, a modern combination of Schottky diodes and a smoothing capacitor, or a silicon diode for a more gritty, distortion-like sound with more headroom. While the Aquaria's ancestor created its signature sound by mixing in clean signal as you increase the gain, we've split this function into two independent controls so you can use it as a perfect clean boost, a raucous distortion, or the classic, transparent drive that comes to mind when you see the hybrid creatures on the pedal's artwork. We've also retained the principles of the original tone control, while significantly improving its response. In addition to these adjustments, we've added a footswitchable 4-band EQ with perfectly selected bands and a second master volume that we've dubbed "Boost." Dial in Aquaria to get the frequency spectrum that's perfect for the situation, use it as a two-channel device, or simply as an EQ; the possibilities are endless. Aquaria is equally at home in front of a clean channel or as a drive to push an amp to its limits. Finally, we've added a small internal switch that lets you choose between the infamous Klon bypass buffer and true bypass operation.Lichtlaerm Audio Smart Relay Technology Transparent overdrive, clean boost and EQ pedal -Germanium, Schottky, silicon clipping - Clean and saturation gain controls 4-band EQ with up to 16dB cut/boost per band, non-interactive, constant Q - Low noise, high headroom (generates 27V internally)・Bass: 40-100Hz, Low-mid: 400Hz, High-mid: 800Hz, Treble: 4000-10000Hz - Up to 6dB full-range boost with volume control Power supply: 9VDC center negative・Current consumption: Minimum 100mA
