A highly versatile, fully analog chorus/vibrato pedal. Julia is a fully analog, feature-rich chorus/vibrato pedal with a wide range of tonal possibilities that inspire exploration. The 2020 update adds new features, including a top-mounted jack, soft-switch bypass, and new artwork by Adam Forster. Julia can produce everything from a mild, smooth chorus to a seasick vibrato. With controls for lag, dry/chorus/vibrato blend, and selectable analog LFO waveforms, you can create anything from classic to unique chorus/vibrato sounds. A variety of settings are possible, from familiar sounds to sounds not found in conventional chorus pedals. One of Julia's special features is lag control. The Lag knob sets the delay time that the LFO effect modulation is based on. From smooth, tight modulation at low settings to shimmering detune at maximum, the Lag knob adds a new dimension to traditional chorus/vibrato. DCV Knob While most chorus/vibrato pedals offer a toggle switch to switch between the two effects, Julia offers a knob (labeled dcv on the pedal) to blend between dry, chorus and vibrato. Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend changes the ratio of dry and wet signals sent to the output. At minimum, no effect is heard, and at 12 o'clock, where dry and wet are equal, it's a traditional chorus setting. At its maximum setting, it's 100% wet, a traditional vibrato setting. Adjusting it from min to 12 o'clock can add a subtle movement to your dry signal (which also makes Julia great for bass guitar). Tune it from 12 o'clock to maximum and you'll experience all sorts of chorus/vibrato combinations you've never heard before.- True bypass Julia features a deep lavender case with surf green ink and original artwork by Adam Forster depicting the mysteries of water as Julia reveals her hand and tells her true story. The die-cast housing measures exactly 4.77 inches x 2.9 inches x 2.3 inches. -Power requirements are 9VDC (minimum 100mA). Power supply is not included.
