Overdrive+ is an original circuit drive pedal with both familiar and unique tones, from a low-gain, always-on tone enhancer to a high-gain, raging lead machine. It has built-in JFETs, op amps, and diodes to cover a wide range. The op amp is used for gain and buffering, and is boosted to about 30V so you can stack other pedals in front of it without it clipping. All clipping is controlled by JFETs or diodes. Along with the standard VOL, TONE and GAIN controls, there's a BASS CUT switch for perfect tightness, and a CLIP MODE switch for switching between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping styles. The Strangle/Raw Boost is a very versatile dirty boost that adds gain and double harmonic distortion to the signal. STRANGLE uses a resonant filter to create a subtle wah effect, while RAW removes this filter and converts it into a full-range boost.Power supply: 9VDC power supply (center negative) Current consumption: about 30mA
