Yoshihiro Naruse's latest signature model, the SG short Narucho Fretless, is now in stock! This is a fretless model! This new Phoenix SG Short bass, planned and designed by Narcho himself, is the second in the series and is a fretless model! Like the fretted model, this model is finished at 790 mm (31 inches), which is slightly longer than the standard short scale. The maple fingerboard features Narcho's original green lines and dots, making it very easy to read. The deep spoon-cut cutaway on the 1st string side makes it easy to play in the high positions. The guitar features a multi-layer laminate body with a vibrant burl poplar top, a neck-through construction, two EMG J pickups, a pick selector with a toggle switch, and a new control function that combines two volumes. Its quick attack and ability to handle even the most delicate passages while retaining the fullness and richness of a bass guitar make it an extremely easy-to-use instrument.
