PJB, popular for its high-fidelity sound, has released a preamp that delivers the ultimate in pure sound, from double bass to electric guitar! This preamp is compatible with all ba sses, from passive pickups common in wood basses to electric basses. The PE-5WB is a new, more refined version of PJB's first bass preamp, the PE-5. The circuit design has been revised to achieve a purer tone. Boasting high performance comparable to studio equipment, it faithfully amplifies and corrects the bass's original sound. ■High-sensitivity input supports piezo pickups The PE-5 is PJB's first bass preamp designed for use with both electric and upright basses. Its high sensitivity setting allows it to easily handle and amplify the signal from passive piezo pickups in upright basses. ■ Equipped with 5-band EQ and DI output PJB's renowned 5-band EQ allows for quick sound shaping.
