This beautiful fabric is a soft and airy cotton double (2-ply) gauze called "mouseline". It is medium-light weight, nearly opaque with a bit of body in the drape, and the two layer s sewn together provide a very slight puffiness and weightlessness. The lovely "vélos" print (4.5" repeat)-- vélos is French for bicycles -- features tinted grays and browns with Persian red highlights on a creamy ivory background (PANTONE 19-1934, 15-2706, 18-4011).
