A New York legend finally returns For many years, there was a mouthpiece that was highly popular in New York among musicians of all genres, from orchestral players to big band performers. The workshop continued to exist after the company was acquired in the 1980s, but closed around the 1990s. The brand continued to exist and orders could still be taken, but since then, production has essentially been carried out by several subcontractors. The subcontractors varied over time, and at times, OEM production was handled by a European mouthpiece manufacturer. Among these subcontractors, it was discovered that one American manufacturer possessed the original data and tools. Driven by the manufacturer's strong desire to "revive the time-honored New York mouthpieces for the modern era," the company has now named the product "NY Classic" and begun production of all trumpet models, including the popular V-cup models (VS, VM, V). Because it is made faithfully to the original drawings, the sound, resonance, and playing feel are all the same as the mouthpieces of yesteryear. This mouthpiece, which has been difficult to obtain since production ceased, can now be obtained as an "original" rather than a "copy." A New York tradition has finally been revived. 1...17.5mm 3...17.0mm 6...16.70mm 5...16.60mm 7...16.50mm 10...16.00mm 12...15.50 mm 17...15.00mm B: Deep C: Slightly deep M: Moderate S: Shallow V: Deep VM: Moderate VS: Shallow B, C, M, S...C cup shape V, VM, VS...V cup shape *If the item is in stock at the store or importer, it can usually be ordered and shipped within 3-4 days.
