E-II HORIZON SERIES The body is a laminated structure with a quilted maple top and mahogany back. The neck is made of three pieces of highly rigid hard maple, and the fingerboard i s made of ebony. The neck is joined to the body using a set neck method, but the heel is smoothly machined, allowing for good playability in the upper positions. The pickups are a combination of EMG 66TW and 57TW. The volume and tone controls are switch pots, and pulling up the knobs switches each pickup to coil split mode. The bridge is a GOTOH Tune-Matic type, and the strings are strung from the back of the body.
