Stradivarius Vincent Bach created the first Bach trumpet in 1924 and continued to develop it. Players who held it in their hands commented that it was "truly the Stradivarius of tr umpets," hence the brand name. It has good response across the entire range, easy intonation control, great flexibility, little fatigue, and a pleasant, rich, and beautiful tone that has been praised as a ``backing sound.'' 190 Series: Bach has now released the 190ML37 model, which the current Bach development team aimed to create as the "best Bach trumpet." After extensive research, we selected the Artisan model's acclaimed brass and nickel two-piece valve casing "#190 Platform," with braces from the Bronx Factory (Bronx, NY 1928-), a bell from the Mount Vernon Factory (Mount Vernon, NY 1953-), and a mouthpiece from the Elkhart Factory (Elkhart, IN 1965-). We researched and matched the optimal weight, materials, and manufacturing methods. It has a rich, consistent tone across all ranges, characteristic of a "back sound." 190ML43 Supervised by Rashawn Ross, this model uses the slightly lighter "Mount Vernon Weight" to maximize the characteristics of the 43 bell.
