Mayones Ikebe Musical Instrument Store 50th Anniversary Model To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ikebe Musical Instruments, we have completed a special order model crafted usin g the finest wood materials, based on the "Regius Core Guard" model, which was produced in 2018 as part of the MBC (Master Builder Collection) series. As the name suggests, the Regius Core Guard model features an archtop body, which is a characteristic of the Regius Core model, and a pickguard, as the name Guard suggests. The pickguard is recessed into the body, creating a design that is integrated with the body, demonstrating Mayones' high woodworking skills and design sense, making this a model with an appealing look that is unique to it. The body top is luxuriously made from a single piece of carefully selected, exquisitely curly-grained redwood. Mayones uses Master Grade wood, the highest grade used, so you can really feel the beauty of the material itself. The guard is made from a combination of master-grade Eye Poplar wood and resin, which makes it harder than the natural wood properties of Eye Poplar, making it not only visually appealing but also functionally effective as a pickguard. The neck is a strong 11-ply multi-laminate neck made primarily of maple, just like the regular model, but as it is an anniversary model, the maple used is 5A grade flame maple. The fingerboard is made of ebony, just like the regular model, but as an option, 4mm avalon dots are used as position marks on the fingerboard. The body wing that mates with the neck is made of an extremely rare flame-grained alder, a special gift from Mayones to commemorate the 50th anniversary. While alder is a standard electric guitar body material, alongside ash and mahogany, the grained alder used on this model is extremely rare and extremely valuable. It has a clear sound with few quirks, and the well-balanced, open sound produced by its lightweight body is very pleasant, allowing you to enjoy the sound that only alder can produce. The pickups are Mayones' genuine "Velvetrone" series "Ironside" and "Solium" pickups. The bridge pickup is equipped with the high-gain "Ironside," which has an attack response that follows the picking, and the neck pickup is equipped with the "Solium," which is well-balanced and produces soulful leads and silky clean sounds.These two genuine pickups produce a sound that is more original than Mayones'. The pickups, control knobs, and tuner pegs are all specially made to match the body as part of the anniversary model, giving the guitar a unified and stunning look. Due to its special specifications, it is extremely expensive, but the precious wood used and the options that are not normally available make it a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece that is difficult to make twice.
