SAITO Guitars, the original brand of Saito Musical Instrument Workshop, has been committed to creating "simple and beautiful tools" since its founding in 1991, drawing on the accumulated experience of working with many luthiers' guitars through repair work. The solid yet powerful acoustic sound, a result of the technical skills cultivated through archtop guitar making, is a must-hear. While combining a slim, comfortable, round-shaped hard maple neck and maple fingerboard in a simple bolt-on construction, the slightly deep cutaway and gently arched top surface emphasize its simplicity and functionality. The rigidity of the 1st string side, which is prone to warping and twisting due to the longer distance from the nut to the tuning peg, is addressed by making the 1st string side thicker up to the center of the headstock logo. In addition, the balance of the headstock resonance is improved by ensuring that the flex of the headstock due to string tension is consistent for each string. Furthermore, the combination of an original 5mm thick neck joint plate that suppresses variations in tightening torque and anchors for the joint screws embedded in the neck side ensures lossless vibration transmission and long-term reliability. This particular guitar is in player's condition, with some minor scratches, pick wear, dents, and tarnishing on the hardware. The frets retain approximately 70% of their height, and there are no issues with the neck condition, truss rod, or electronics, making it perfectly playable!
