We have a used Craviotto cherry solid wood snare drum in stock! It was manufactured in 2004, the year Craviotto was founded. ~Craviotto Drum Company~ Craviotto Drum Company, a drum manufacturer founded by the late Johnny Craviotto, one of the world's greatest masters of solid shell craftsmanship, produces solid (single-shell) drums, which are completely different from ply shells. Crafted from carefully selected, premium-grade wood veneers, and utilizing a proprietary steam-bending process pioneered by Johnny Craviotto, each shell is meticulously hardened and hand-finished for strength, stability, and unparalleled performance. Every Custom Shop drum is built to exacting specifications, showcasing the impeccable craftsmanship that has made Craviotto Drums a legendary drum manufacturer. -Solid Cherry- A bright tonewood, cherry offers excellent sound projection and crisp response. The beautiful wood grain is attractive and will develop a rich color over the years. It provides a bright and vivid attack, a clean and stable shell resonance, and a natural and quick sound decay. The 6.5-inch deep shell gives it a well-balanced character with adequate mid- to low-range sound. The response of the snare is astonishing, fully expressing the subtlest sticking touches and dynamics, making this a highly refined instrument.
