The variable speed switch allows you to intuitively adjust the looper's playback speed with the same speed change rate as switching from 33 to 45 RPM or from 45 to 33 RPM. You can also layer additional sounds on top of the looped recording. For example, you can use the variable speed switch to play a beat loop at your preferred speed, and then record a scratch sound on top of it.
