We have a vintage Istanbul K Ride 20-inch guitar in stock, believed to have been manufactured between 1959 and 1966! We have received a 20-inch ride cymbal with an Intermediate sta mp that appears to have been manufactured between 1959 and 1966. This is a well-weighted instrument with a calm, dark tone, and its weight also produces a dignified, crisp legato sound. The slightly larger cup provides a bright and clear accent, with a deep low-frequency resonance and a wide mid-range that adds depth to the sound. It has a faded, mellow nuance that is typical of vintage cymbals, with no flashy overtones. This is a stylish ride cymbal that is smoky yet has a clear legato, making it suitable for a wide range of styles, from jazz to blues, big band, and classical rock. The hole diameter is approximately 11mm. It can be easily set up with a YAMAHA cymbal stand or TAMA HC52F. It may be difficult to use with some stands, such as those made by Pearl and TAMA.
